Dr. Tariq Hilal is a board-certified physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specializing in interventional spine care and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. He provides comprehensive, conservative care for patients who are seeking relief from back pain, neck pain, nerve conditions, and sports-related injuries.

Dr. Hilal’s practice is centered on restoring function while avoiding surgery whenever possible. Through advanced image-guided procedures, rehabilitation strategies, and individualized treatment plans, he helps patients regain comfort and mobility with clarity and confidence.

Education & Advanced Training

Dr. Hilal earned his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. He went on to complete a Master of Medical Sciences at Drexel University College of Medicine before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific.

He completed his internship at Mount Sinai South Nassau and his residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Hilal then pursued fellowship training in Interventional Spine under Dr. Christopher Huston, spine consultant for the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, where he refined his expertise in advanced spine procedures and image-guided therapies.
